Her registered name is B Sombrella #824 Importaa98,
but,
to us she was known as Sombrella. She was in the 1998 importation from Chile. Sombrella came to the ranch in 2002 and was approximately 7 years old. She gave us three female cria and when she retired from “birthing” she became a “mom” to young female cria that we were weaning. |

We were so impressed with the color of her fiber that one of Wade and Marianne’s first rugs was woven from her fiber as a tribute to her…….we called it “Ode to Sombrella”.
Sombrella passed away this year and we miss her.
